About Alyssa, MA, LPCC

My journey into the realm of psychology began at Michigan State University, where I was fortunate to receive mentorship from esteemed mentors and professors. As a research assistant, I delved into the intricate connections between the mind, morality, physiology, and culture.

Driven by a passion for personal growth, I embarked on a path of self-discovery in my early 20s, redirecting my focus from athletics to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, followed by a Master's Degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Therapy.

Specializing in play therapy, somatic therapy, and EMDR, I work with children, teens, adults, and couples grappling with issues such as reactivity, anxiety, depression, shame, anger, aggression, trauma, and dissociation. My approach involves empowering clients to manage their nervous systems and triggers effectively, facilitating resolution of entrenched patterns, and fostering a sense of empowerment in their lives.
